ORIGINS OF THE MINERAL
The word “chalcedony” comes from the city in Asia Minor called Khalkêdôn in Greek. Stone mentioned in the Bible, it actually designates a large family of stones, including all agates, but also carnelian , sardonyx, onyx, sardonyx, blue chalcedony, white chalcedony, chrysoprase...
Like aventurine, the formula of chalcedony tells us that they belong to quartz. Its formation was made at low temperature (100 degrees) and from solutions of silicic acid, mainly of magmatic origin, but also sedimentary (they were placed in rock cavities where they crystallized). The elements of iron, magnesium, copper... will give all the color variations of chalcedony, including carnelian .

It can be worn at the level of the 2nd chakra, that is to say around the navel, with a plaster.
