ORIGINS OF THE MINERAL
Following a sedimentation process, the stone is called jasper because of its 90% silica composition. Based on a Chinese legend, several ancient civilizations sought without success to appropriate this mineral and its virtues for various uses. It was recently that the mineral “audible oracle” was discovered in South Africa in the Limpopo province. Subsequent geological studies have shown the existence of significant deposits of the dragon's blood jasper stone in the Greater Western Australia region. Since its discovery, the semi-precious mineral has contributed to numerous applications in lithotherapy thanks to its multiple virtues and properties.
